Perplexity and American Express Business Promotion

Get a statement credit, 1,000 bonus Perplexity Computer Credits, and curated Skills with an eligible U.S. American Express Business Card.

Overview of the promotion

Perplexity has partnered with American Express to bring an exclusive promotion to eligible U.S. American Express® Business Card Members. The program has three parts, and you can benefit from one, two, or all three:

• A statement credit on qualifying Perplexity purchases
• 1,000 bonus Perplexity Computer Credits when you buy Enterprise Pro or Enterprise Max with your U.S. American Express Card
• Access to an exclusive, curated collection of Skills inside Perplexity Computer for U.S. American Express Business Card Members

Each part has its own requirements, described below. The promotion is available only to eligible U.S. American Express Small Business Card Members.

Buy or pay for your subscription at perplexity.ai. Purchases made in the Perplexity app or through an app store do not qualify for the statement credit.

Part 1, statement credit

Spend $325 or more in a single Perplexity purchase with your eligible U.S. American Express Business Card and receive a$125 statement credit from American Express. Add the offer to your Card in the Amex app or your American Express account before you make the purchase.

Any single Perplexity transaction of $325 or more with your enrolled Card qualifies, including plans like one month of Enterprise Max or one year of Enterprise Pro.

To receive the credit:

1. Sign in to your American Express account or open the Amex app
2. Find the Perplexity offer and add it to your eligible Business Card
3. Make a qualifying purchase of $325 or more at perplexity.ai using that same Card
4. American Express will apply the $125 statement credit to your billing statement, in line with the offer’s terms

The offer must be added to your Card in the Amex app before you make the purchase.

Part 2, bonus credits

Pay for a Perplexity Enterprise Pro or Enterprise Max subscription directly at perplexity.ai using your U.S. American Express Card between October 1, 2026 and March 29, 2027. You receive a one-time bonus of 1,000 Perplexity Computer Credits on your Perplexity account (not per seat).

• No activation in the Amex app is required for this benefit
• Perplexity detects that you are paying with an eligible U.S. American Express Card and adds the bonus Computer Credits to your Perplexity account
• Applies to new and existing Perplexity Enterprise Pro or Enterprise Max subscriptions purchased directly at perplexity.ai. Limit one (1) bonus of 1,000 Perplexity Computer Credits per eligible Perplexity account (not per seat).

Bonus Computer Credits appear in your Perplexity account, expire 60 calendar days after they are awarded, have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are forfeited upon cancellation of your Perplexity subscription.

For existing customers: If you have an existing active Perplexity Enterprise subscription and are already paying with an eligible U.S. American Express Card, Perplexity adds the bonus Computer Credits to your Perplexity account after your next transaction. Allow up to 90 days after the eligible purchase is charged to your Card for the bonus to post.

Part 3, curated Skills

Get access to an exclusive, curated collection of ready-to-use Skills in Perplexity Computer, available to U.S. American Express Business Card Members.

To unlock the collection:

1. Sign in to your Perplexity account with an active Perplexity Enterprise subscription (Enterprise Pro or Enterprise Max)
2. Open the Personal CFO Page inside Perplexity: https://www.perplexity.ai/cfo
3. Follow the on-screen prompts to link an eligible American Express Business Card through Plaid
4. Once linked successfully, the curated collection of Skills will unlock on the Personal CFO Page

An active Perplexity Enterprise subscription is required to use the curated Skills.

Troubleshooting

I made a qualifying purchase but haven’t received my statement credit

American Express issues statement credits, which typically post within the timeframe shown in the offer’s terms after the purchase settles.

Check that:

1. You added the Perplexity offer to your Card in the Amex app before making the purchase
2. The purchase was $325 or more in a single transaction, not split across several charges
3. You paid with the same Card that has the offer activated

If everything looks correct and the credit still has not posted after the stated timeframe, contact American Express through the phone number on the back of your Card.

I paid with my American Express Card but don’t see the 1,000 bonus Computer Credits

For new subscriptions, Perplexity adds bonus Computer Credits automatically after your payment is processed. Check that:

1. Your payment went through successfully
2. The Card you used is a U.S. American Express Card and the purchase was for Enterprise Pro or Enterprise Max at perplexity.ai

If you have an existing subscription, allow up to 90 days after the eligible purchase for the bonus Computer Credits to post. If the Computer Credits still do not appear, contact Perplexity Customer Support with your receipt.

I connected Plaid but don’t see the curated Skills collection

Check that:

1. Your Perplexity subscription is active
2. The account you linked through Plaid is an eligible U.S. American Express Small Business Card (Corporate Cards are not eligible)

If the collection still does not appear, try disconnecting and reconnecting Plaid, then refresh the Personal CFO Page. If the issue continues, contact Perplexity Customer Support.

The full terms of the statement credit are provided by American Express and are shown when you add the offer to your Card in the Amex app. The Skills and bonus Computer Credits benefits are subject to the Terms and Conditions provided by American Express and Perplexity, summarized on the Amex x Perplexity partnership page at perplexity.ai/hub/partnerships/amex. Your Perplexity Enterprise subscription will automatically renew at the then-current subscription price unless canceled before the applicable renewal date; if you cancel or do not renew, you will no longer have access to the curated collection of Skills. By linking your Card, you authorize Perplexity to access your Card transaction and account data through American Express or a third-party service provider on a read-only basis for the purpose of providing the Skills. Your use of Perplexity is also subject to Perplexity’s Terms of Service at https://www.perplexity.ai/hub/legal/terms-of-service. American Express is not responsible for Perplexity’s platform, AI-generated Outputs, products, or services. Fulfillment of the Skills and the bonus Computer Credits is the sole responsibility of Perplexity.
