Why am I getting errors like “Aw, Snap!” or connection problems?
These errors usually mean there’s a temporary issue loading a page.
Common causes include unstable internet connection, restrictive security software, conflicting extensions, or temporary website downtime.
What can I do to fix connection or loading errors?
Double-check the website address and reload the page.
Make sure your device is online and not in Airplane Mode.
Check your firewall, antivirus, and VPN to make sure Comet is allowed access.
Close and restart Comet.
Ensure Comet is updated to the latest version.
Try opening the page in Incognito mode (this disables extensions).
Disable any extensions that might interfere with loading.
Clear browsing data (cache and cookies).
Close other tabs or apps if your device is low on memory.
If the issue persists, you can try and reset Comet to default in Settings → Reset settings.
Still need help?
If these steps don’t fix the issue, open Help → Report an Issue… inside Comet or visit the Help Center.
You can also send feedback directly from the browser menu.
