Why am I getting errors like “Aw, Snap!” or connection problems?

These errors usually mean there’s a temporary issue loading a page.
Common causes include unstable internet connection, restrictive security software, conflicting extensions, or temporary website downtime.

What can I do to fix connection or loading errors?

  • Double-check the website address and reload the page.

  • Make sure your device is online and not in Airplane Mode.

  • Check your firewall, antivirus, and VPN to make sure Comet is allowed access.

  • Close and restart Comet.

  • Ensure Comet is updated to the latest version.

  • Try opening the page in Incognito mode (this disables extensions).

  • Disable any extensions that might interfere with loading.

  • Clear browsing data (cache and cookies).

  • Close other tabs or apps if your device is low on memory.

  • If the issue persists, you can try and reset Comet to default in Settings → Reset settings.

Still need help?

If these steps don’t fix the issue, open Help → Report an Issue… inside Comet or visit the Help Center.
You can also send feedback directly from the browser menu.
