# Fix a Task That Is Stuck or Did Not Create a File

> Open Perplexity in your browser and find the task. The task may have continued successfully even if the app stopped updating.

<p>Open Perplexity in your browser and find the task. The task may have continued successfully even if the app stopped updating.</p>

<p>If the task is visible and progressing on the web, restart the app and reopen it there.</p>

<h2 id="h_if_the_task_is_still_stuck"><b>If the task is still stuck</b></h2>

    <p>Confirm that the required device, folder, browser, installed app, or connector is available.</p>

<p>Before repeating a request that moves, changes, or creates files, check whether any part of it already completed.</p>

    <p>Open the completed task and review its result files, or check <strong>Artifacts</strong>.</p>

    <p>Confirm that the task completed rather than stopping at an approval or error.</p>
