# How do I change to my preferred AI model?

> Learn to switch between AI models in Perplexity. This guide shows you the model selector and how to choose your preferred model for each search.

<p>You can change to your preferred model by clicking the model on the bottom left of the prompt input box. If no model is selected it will be named "Model".<br />​</p>
